WHO WE ARE

Christ Disciples Camp is a ministry and a place where disciples are raised up to follow Christ's sound doctrine and lifestyle for mission work of soul winning and the work of the ministry in the demonstration of Power and Spirit. It is a place where believers are taught, nurtured, built and matured for the ultimate purpose of coming to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. The Lord has given us a two-fold vision- one towards the Body of Christ and the other towards the unbelieving world.

“For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there forever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually” 2Chronicles7: 16 Be richly blessed in Him.

WHAT WE DO

We are commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel of the kingdom of God to the entire world, and make disciples of all nations with this Gospel of the Kingdom. We are called to be fellow workers with God in making His Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

  • John6: 28-29
  • Mathew6: 10

28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

The Work in itself is to believe on Him (Yeshua) whom God had sent to die for the sin of the world that the world through him might be saved from the wrath of God to come.
  • John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

This Gospel of the Kingdom is the message of Salvation (repentance and conversion), the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins making it possible for us to be reconciled with the Father, and the good news of Eternal life- to the dying World.

  • John6: 29

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

That whosoever believeth on His name would be saved from the judgement of God to come on the whole world and the god of this world.

  • John3: 16-18

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

HISTORY OF CHRIST DISCIPLES CAMP

The Vision of Christ Disciples Camp (CDC) came to Brother Babajide Oni in the year 2009 vaguely but was not made clearer until December of the year 2010. He was led by the Holy Spirit to raise, teach, build up and send forth an army of Spirit-filled disciples into the Lord's Harvest. The Ministry took off in March 2011 after waiting on the Lord in prayers and fasting. God has been faithful since then. Alleluia. Glory be to God. The Spirit of the Lord has been laying on his mind that the Church is drifting away from discipleship laid on the foundation of Christ and His Apostles in the early New Testament Church.

There are so many Christians by confession of mouth but there are few following Christ in lifestyle.

  • 2Peter2: 1-3
  • 1Timothy4: 1-2

2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

4 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

A follower of Christ in deeds, lifestyle and principles is a disciple of Christ, and there aren't many of them today.

  • Ephesians4: 11-16; 2: 19-22
  • Matthew28: 18-20

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed. 20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

VISION

God’s Mandate on Christ Disciples Camp;

To raise, teach, build up and send forth an army of Spirit-filled disciples into his Harvest

  • Mathew28: 18-20; 9: 37-38

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Prepare His People for the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua(Jesus Christ)

  • Mathew3: 3

3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”

Contend for the Faith and the Truth

  • Jude3

3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

Spreading the Oracles of God. And sowing His Seed every where we go

  • 1 Thessalonians 1: 8

8 For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.

HOW? BY..

The leading of the Holy Spirit and fully abiding in the Word of God

  • Romans8: 14
  • John14: 21

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

Faith and the laying down of our lives for the sake of the Gospel, the brethren and our Lord Jesus Christ

  • Hebrews11: 6
  • 1John3: 16

6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

The Fruit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

  • Galatians5: 22-23
  • 1Corinthians12: 4-11

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

Willingness and obedience

  • Isaiah1: 19

19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

Prayer and fasting

  • Mathew17: 20-21
  • 2Chronicles7: 14-18

20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” 21 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. 17 “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, 18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’

The demonstration of the Spirit and of Power

  • 1Corinthians2: 4
  • 1Thessalonians1: 5

4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

5 because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.
